About Me 

I’m originally from New Zealand but I moved to Denmark in 2011 with my Danish wife. I have 2 beautiful small children of my own aged 8 and 5.
 
I am enjoying the experience of being a father immensely and I love spending time with my children and I have taken a long period of paternity leave with both of them.
 
I love spending my time caring for children at home. Having the opportunity to play with them, interact with them and help them to learn and grow really makes me feel that I am doing something special on a daily basis.
 
I truly do enjoy doing both the physical activities with my boys such as ball games as well as quieter activities such as jigsaw puzzles or playing with playdoh as both are important to development and growth.
 
As far as my personality, I am very calm, sociable and patient. I care and give a lot of hugs to the children, but I am also responsible and structured. My approach to the children is about care and security combined with stimulating development according to the child's needs.
 
In addition to 7 years experience as a private caregiver and life experience raising my own children I also have some professional experience working at Vestre Teglgade Vuggestue with children aged 1 to 3.
